Spandana Rao
President
Hey Everyone! My name is Spandana, and I am a senior at WWP High School North. I have been a part of Medforum and HOSA ever since my freshman year at high school, and it has fostered a special place in my heart. I previously served as HOSA Captain for HSN and have competed & placed in the Regional, State, and International HOSA conferences. I recently competed in the International Leadership Conference, and won 2nd in the world with my team in our event, Body Interact! My favorite events by far have been Job Seeking Skills, CPR/First Aid, and Body Interact. I am intrigued by the field of neuroscience and hope to further study and advance the field in my future. Aside from Medforum & HOSA, I am a leader in the Mercer March of Dimes, Relay For Life, and my local girl’s charity group. I have also been a dedicated Girl Scout for over 10 years, and recently obtained my Gold Award (the highest award a Girl Scout can earn) by founding “Project Smile”. In my free time, I enjoy exploring new cultures by traveling the world with my family, dancing with my team, and spending time with friends. As your HOSA and Medforum President for this year, I am excited to see what everyone brings to the table and can assure to support you in all of your endeavors. Hi everyone! I am currently a senior at West Windsor Plainsboro High School North. I loves a good medical mystery and am passionate about advancing the medical field with machine learning. I have been a part of Medforum/HOSA for the past four years and have competed at the regional, state, and international level. Apart from Medforum/HOSA, I am the Awards & Media Captain on WW-P’s FIRST Robotics team. I am actively involved with my Girl Scout troop, and love to volunteer. Whenever I'm not working on homework, you can find me hanging out with friends, playing the violin, learning about a new computer algorithm, or volunteering with a local organization! I loves meeting new people, so be sure to say hi and talk to me! I can’t wait for another great year and am looking forward to working with everyone!

Hi guys! My name is Sarayu and I am currently a senior at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North. I have previously served as a HOSA Captain and have competed in the regional, state, and international HOSA conferences. My favorite events are HOSA Bowl and CPR/First Aid! I am very interested in mental health/psychology and plan to study this field in the future. Apart from MedForum/HOSA, I am an active officer in my class council and Waksman Research Club. In my free time I likes to play the viola, take naps, and explore new music such as r&b and jazz. I am beyond excited for another great year with this club- feel free to say hi to me in the hallways :)

Hi! My name is Sydney and I’m a sophomore at high school North! This is currently my second year in medforum. In my future I plan to pursue a career in medicine, specifically obstetrics. I am a member of Relay for Life and the Book Club! I love getting involved in school, meeting new people, and volunteering. Hello, my name is Ronit and I’m a Junior at HSN. I’m one of the HOSA captains and take part in the Medforum and HOSA clubs. I participated in HOSA for 3 years now and really enjoy its knowledge base and innovative health related topics. I strongly believe that Medforum and HOSA empowers me in my pursuit of making advancements in Medicine, healthcare and service towards the community. Being a STEM enthusiast, my goal is to embark on a creative approach to design solutions for medicine and healthcare. Outside of school, I’m a Speed Cuber by passion, enjoy playing the viola, and performing with the Youth Chamber Orchestra.

Hi everyone! My name is Pallavi and I’m so excited to be a HOSA Captain this year. I’ve been a part of HOSA/Medforum for all four years at North and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. Outside of HOSA, I’m super into all things music, and I’m part of Out of the Blue, North’s coed acapella group. I also love playing the guitar, baking, and taking really bad timed naps. I’m looking forward to a great year!

Hi guys! My name is Juhi and I am a junior at WWP High School North, and I have participated in Medforum/HOSA since the beginning of freshman year. From a young age, I have been interested in medicine as love to help the people around me and learn more about the complexities of the human body. I have competed in various different events in both regional and state competitions while also participating in Girls Learn International (GLI) as a student advisory board member in the metro region. As a part of GLI, I have attended the 66th United Nations Commission on the Status of Women as a delegate and plan to attend again. Along with these clubs, I am also working towards achieving a diploma in the Indian classical dance form Bharatanatyam. As I am passionate about helping those around me, I have been a girl scout for 7 years and have done over 200 hours of volunteering, achieving 2 different presidential awards as well as my silver award. As this year's HOSA captain, I am excited to share my past experience with the new members and work with everyone to achieve greatness.
